Our range of charcoal briquettes is ideal for open grills and konro-style grills. They have the longest burn to get you through service, and produce no smoke or odour, so you have total control over your dish.
Other low-quality briquettes are made from charcoal dust and binding agents like potato starch, which result in a lower burn temperature and an undesirable aroma when burning.
We only supply charcoal briquettes that are made from 100% wood — nothing else. This is achieved by first producing a sawdust briquette at high pressure, which causes the lignin in the wood particles to naturally bind the briquette together. These are then cooked in charcoal kilns at high temperatures, resulting in a highly carbonised, consistent charcoal briquette that is favoured by chefs for its reliability, long burn times, and cost-effectiveness.
